The Versaclimber is a unique machine that mimics the natural motion of climbing and allows for a full body cardio workout.
The machine allows you to burn more calories per minute than any other - up to 800 calories in a 45 minute session - whilst strengthening muscles.
Unlike treadmill or spin classes, this workout is both low impact and full body, minimising unnecessary stress or trauma to your body.
The combination of cardio and strength training that the climbing provides allows the body to achieve higher output in less time. Vertical climbing tones your arms, shoulders, back, abs, glutes and legs while also providing a calorie blasting cardio workout.
A session burns more calories per minute than any other cardio machine. Studies have shown that vertical climbing can burn an average of 22.3 calories per minute while cycling, treadmill and rowing classes burn between 13 and 14 calories per minute. Due to the push of higher VO2 max, this level of output allows the body to continue burning fat and calories for hours after the workout.
Versaclimbing is easy on the joints and allows for life-long use without negative consequences. Non-traumatic - injury preventative. Your feet stay planted, eliminating any pounding on knees and joints and prevents erratic movement that could cause injury. The movement keeps your body aligned and climbing reinforces better movement patterns.
Versaclimbers are also utilised as a testing machine for monitoring and developing an athlete's anaerobic threshold and VO2 max output. For anyone training to improve their overall cardio ability, it allows them to effectively condition their muscles whilst improving their threshold capacity without breaking the body or causing micro-traumas. You would be able to perform an hour-long training session on a Versaclimber within a high heart rate zone without the concern of excessively tiring or damaging your body.
Specifically targeting the posterior chain - this is a must for all those wanting to improve their muscles that run down the back of your body including; shoulders, back, glutes, hamstrings and calves. Climbing allows for a natural athletic position and ergonomic spinal alignment. The cross-crawl movement of climbing make proper form intuitive and easy to maintain.
This class provides an introduction to the Versaclimber and its ability to provide a safe, full-body workout.
Fast-paced and fun, this Cardio class merges exercise with music and is tailored to keep you moving.
Built using interval training and focusing on a variety of motions to effectively train you as you learn the foundations of Versaclimbing.

This class mimics sessions professional athletes use to increase their anaerobic threshold and VO2 max output (baseline measurements of cardiovascular fitness).
In this class we will be using Polar Heart Rate Monitors to climb within specific zones. The intensity of 'feet climb per minute' and 'stroke length' will alter depending which zone you are required to be in working up to a pecentage of your HR Max.
